EMPOWER COUNSELING

Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here, and that you are considering starting therapy! I'm Rachel, a LPC in the state of Texas, who has had the honor of supporting clients for over a decade.
I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with a wide range of clients but have a particular passion for those dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem. body dysmorphia, ADHD and trauma. I also specialize in working with LGBT+ clients and enjoy working with clients who are healing from religious trauma and/or those who are deconstructing/reconstructing faith.
I most often lean into a relational, empathetic, collaborative, down-to-earth, solution-focused approach to therapy, tailored to each individual client and their unique goals and needs. My goal is to combine research-based care with empathy, practical tools and humor (when appropriate) to facilitate clients moving from self-doubt, low self-esteem, perfectionism toward clarity, confidence and self-acceptance.
